FPL GW32 Chip Strategy Data

I ran the chip optimizer across 7,124 real FPL squads this week. Every valid Wildcard, Free Hit, Bench Boost, and Triple Captain combination tested. Every gameweek scored.

The chip picture heading into GW32

This is the most common optimal chip sequence across squads with all chips remaining. WC32 + BB33 + FH34 + TC36. The data from over 7,000 real FPL teams is clear.

GW32: why Wildcard is the move

81.1% of squads with a Wildcard have GW32 as optimal. Three things line up: GW33 is a double gameweek, Wildcarding now gives you a full week to rebuild around doublers, and Bench Boost follows immediately.

Bench Boost: GW33 leads but it's closer than you think

BB33 at 52.0% is the top choice but GW35 at 28.2% is a real alternative. Your bench composition matters here. If your bench isn't loaded with GW33 doublers, a later DGW might be stronger for you.

Free Hit and Triple Captain

FH34 at 68.8%. It's a blank gameweek. Half your squad might not have a fixture. Don't waste your FH on the double when you already have doublers from WC32.

TC is nearly a coin flip. GW36 at 52.6% barely edges GW33 at 46.4%. This one genuinely depends on your squad.
