What Is the Copilot Score?

A 0-100 rating of your current squad setup. Not just "are your players good" but "is your team set up to score the most points possible this week." I check five things:

Starting XI strength. Total xPts for your first team. Simple question: are your best players on the pitch?

Captain pick. Are you captaining the highest-xPts player? Most managers aren't. It's the easiest free points in FPL.

Bench strength and order. A good bench catches auto-subs when rotation hits. A bad bench costs you. I check both the quality and whether your bench order is right.

Fixture outlook. Great players with terrible upcoming fixtures are a ticking time bomb.

Budget flexibility. Money in the bank and free transfers give you room to react. Zero flexibility means one injury away from a crisis.

How to Improve Your Score

Fix your captain first. This is almost always the biggest quick win. If you're not captaining the highest-xPts player, just switch. That alone can move your score by 10-15 points.

Check your bench order. Your highest-xPts bench player should be first sub. Over a season, good bench ordering gains you 5-10 points from auto-subs. Takes 5 seconds. Most managers never bother.

Don't hoard money. 0.5m in the bank is flexibility. 2.0m in the bank is a player upgrade sitting on the bench. That money should be on the pitch scoring points, not collecting dust.

Rate My Team vs the Solver

Rate My Team is the diagnosis. The Solver is the treatment. One tells you what's wrong, the other tells you how to fix it.

Score below 60? You probably need transfers. Score above 80? You're set. Save the free transfer and roll it.

Here's a tip: rate your team before AND after making transfers. If the score doesn't improve, the transfer probably wasn't worth it. It takes 3 seconds. Save yourself a hit.
